Adult Ministry

Pastors’ Bible Study meets every Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in Pilgrim Hall at the church. Each week, we read, discuss, and meditate upon the scriptures to be used in worship on the coming Sunday. Join the pastors in a discussion about the week’s Lectionary texts. All are welcome!

The FCCW Book Group meets once a month on a Thursday afternoon to discuss a book or books that the group read during the month. The books are varied and are selected by the group. This is an informal group, and anyone is welcome to join!

FCCW-02082016DSC_0097_035-aFCCW Small Groups—meet in plenary and small group sessions in member’s homes at various times during the year.  Small groups are facilitated by lay people and have studied topics such as the intersection of Science and Religion.

Interfaith Dialogue—as a congregation that “learns across faiths and generations” we partner in interfaith dialogue with Congregation Sukkat Shalom of Wilmette; with the Muslim Community Center of Morton Grove; and with other groups and houses of worship. On Sunday, November 13, at 7:30 p.m., there will be lecture by Dr. Robert Gregg, “The Messianic Quest and Question in Each Faith” at Congregation Sukkat Shalom in Wilmette.

For information about any of these offerings, please email the Church Office.
